sketches can be done digitally or on paper, and these days I tend to prefer the latter. a lot of times, there is a special spark about a sketch that the finished work failed to retain. these drawings have a warm place in my heart.

images are arranged from most recent to oldest. the oldest is from a drawing class I took in 2002! some pictures correspond to finished works.
